The third and final New Thing for Thought Bubble this weekend will be the appearance of my story ‘Spilt Soda’ in the latest experiment from We Are Words + Pictures, Paper Science. Here’s the blurb from editor Matt Sheret:

“Somewhere between a ‘zine and a mini-anthology, Paper Science is a snapshot of what We Are Words + Pictures are interested in at the moment. The only criteria was that the contributors had to throw something together that’s a little bit different from what they usually do, resulting in a collection of illustrations, short stories, comics, essays, an extract from a book and an interview.

A twelve page, full-colour newspaper printed by the lovely folks over at Newspaper Club, 300 copies of Paper Science will be available at Thought Bubble from We Are Words + Pictures. It will cost £1 (£1!), or come free with any other purchase from the We Are Words + Pictures stand.

I sold out of the first set a couple of shows ago so it was high time I made some more. The most popular badge of the last set was clearly the big head badge, so this time I did 4 of them in different ways (Smug Adam, Bedhead Adam, Theme-Park Adam & Glastonbury Adam) plus an obligatory logo badge for people who don’t like my face so much.

These will be a mere £1 each of all 5 for £3.

One more new thing tomorrow!

First up is the Glastonbury Postcard Book which I am very excited about. The book features 10 postcards including all 6 colour Glastonbury strips (which start here), 2 previously seen comics in colour for the first time, one exclusive unseen comic about the Saturday at Glastonbury and a card of sketches that I made when trying to capture likenesses of certain famous people.

This will be limited to 100 hand numbered copies, only 40 of which I’ll be bringing to the show. I’ll be selling these for a tidy £5 so come by early on and pick one up.
