Alternative punchline: “Hurry up, Kev.”

I can only apologise for the lack of updates last week and for this being a day late too. There WILL be another strip up on Thursday. The Birmingham convention at the weekend really threw me off track I guess. I had a great time there though, the MCC table worked really well and it was great to see Marc, Anna, Jamie, Leah and John and everyone else. I’ll write a full report soon.

Monday flew by yesterday, making this comic a day late. My sincerest apologies.

Well, here we are, the last day of new comics every weekday. If you’re one of the few who’ve been along for the ride I sincerely thank you for reading and I hope you’ve enjoyed the 24 strips so far. There’s plenty more on the way, three next week for instance, and at least one a week after that.

As for this strip, I suppose panel 1 is a kinda-sequel to The Everyday #13 and will weird Gary out again when he reads this comic about himself reading a comic about himself. He can’t handle the idea of the infinite very well. Panel 2 marks my second reference to Mister Jeffrey Brown, the first being in The Everyday #20. It also mentions my friend Kev’s (and James’) club night in Manchester. If you like the sound of it from the band list on the flyer (the writing is too small you say? oh well) then you can keep informed of their indie disco mayhems at the Dot Dash MySpace. And panel 3 is just so so wrong it must be right, right?
