The Everyday #90

Finally The Everyday is back after a week’s downtime while I moved web hosts. My new personal website is http://www.adamcadwell.com, if you’d like to have a look. This means that the official url for The Everyday has changed too to http://theeveryday.adamcadwell.com, so update your bookmarks if you need to.

I’m aiming to get 3 comics up this week to make up for the downtime, so check back Wednesday to see if I can keep my promises ;)

Hey Adam, I read through your book and I really enjoyed it. It definitely has that appeal that journal comics strive for, that great sense of continuity, it feels like the story continues when you’re not there. Believe it or not, I find it to be an elusive trait for journal comics. I literally laughed out loud on the train like a crazy person when I read that comic where you yelled out “Jitterbug!”

Thanks, Box, I’m glad you enjoyed the book.
I’ve never really thought about the continuity of my comics, I feel like they’re always evolving, always getting closer to what I’m trying to do with them. As for an overall story, I guess that’s just my life, and a lot does happen in between comics, that I guess might intrigue people because of the details I leave in what I do show.
I like the Jitterbug strip too, you find yourself doing odd things when you live alone.

Another location I know quite we-

Holy shit I just realised, on that very same day I went in that very same restaurant. WHAT IS THAT. Scary realisations, a year and a half on.
