The Everyday #47

I didn’t have a chance of posting this last week due to other comic commitments so sorry about that. I also didn’t have anytime to make a big hoopla about The Everyday turning 1 year old, but there’s always time for that. Expect a few extra comics this week (hopefully) and news about a collection of all the comics so far.

Also, this is the second comic with Chris in it and the third featuring my hairy chest. Just so you know.

    Sir -

Much as I enjoy your stripping, I must take you to task regarding the misspelling of “all right” in the last box.

    Your obedient servant,
    Mr Oz, Professional Grammarian.

You see, this is the type of catastrophic error that occurs when one is lettering comics at 2am.

that was my birthday, and the weather was lovely here. :P

HI ADAM - “ALWAYS” IS SPELT WITH ONE L. SO MR. OZ WILL HAVE TO APOLOGISE TO A SUPERIOR BEING.

Although it loks like that pedantic guy could be me… it’s not.

And i have an english degree and I say that you did it right.

I also notice that my use of capitalisation for ‘i’ is erratic.

    Interesting….

They give away English with a capital E degrees in boxes of Weetabix these days. Obviously my English degree is better than yours so ner.

No doubt you rhyme “kilometer” with “thermometer” too.

Oh noes, it’s the Grammar Nazis! ‘Alright’ is an acceptable spelling when used in dialogue and consider both Chris and myself have broad northern accents, its perfectly fitting. I find it amusing I’ve recieved the most comments on a comic because of spelling. Oh well.

And I’d say miles instead of kilometer, anyway.
